In a typical medical office, there are numerous tasks which is involved to provide an great patient care.  A Patient wants an efficient office system where he gets a care in a friendly environment and office staff is paying attention to his needs than shuffling paperwork. In today’s office 4-5 pages of information is required for New Patients which takes time and is prone to typing mistakes.

The vision of EMR or EHR is to provide a streamlined process to allow free flow of information between, Patient, Staff and MD in the front-desk to Billing, Accounting and charting in the back-end. In the last few years, medical offices have adopted different tools to automate these tasks electronically. Largely successful has been the billing cycle process, due to the fact that dedicated teams of people are involved at the billing side and the insurance payment side. Some gap exists in the interpretation of Benefits and insurance or medical offices which has yet to automate the billing cycle.

In the last few years, more focus has been devoted to address this customer relationship cycle and automate tasks. With lack of standard and operational efficiencies, about 80% of the medical office is still operating manually. Multiple solutions exists today, but are customized for large offices or hospitals which can fund large practice.
